Tracy Kim’s Background

I have a background in art and design, having studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. During the pandemic, I discovered a passion for oil painting through art jamming lessons, which allowed me to explore my creativity. The slow drying time of oil paint provided me with the flexibility to modify my work and fully express my imagination. This newfound love for painting led to invitations to participate in several small exhibitions. Eventually, I co-founded an art and fashion startup in Hong Kong, where I teach and create original oil paintings.

My artistic strength lies in themes of love and nature. I find inspiration in the portrayal of lovers, often influenced by the idealized relationships depicted in many Japanese and Korean songs. This passion for romantic imagery is evident in my paintings. Additionally, I draw inspiration from the beauty of nature, particularly roses and various flowers, as well as serene garden scenes. Each piece reflects my fascination with these themes, inviting viewers to explore the emotions and beauty that resonate within them.

I am currently teaching children and leading workshops in Hong Kong, while also preparing for projects and exhibitions planned for 2026.

我擁有藝術與設計的專業背景，曾在紐約市時裝技術學院深造。疫情期間，透過於藝術體驗課程，我發現了對油畫的熱愛，這讓我得以探索自己的創造力。油畫顏料緩慢的乾透過程賦予我修改作品的靈活性，並能充分表達我的想像力。這份繪畫的熱情使我獲邀參加了數場小型展覽。後來，我在香港創立了一家藝術與時尚初創企業 FASHIONISTIZE，從事教學並創作原創油畫作品。

我的藝術擅長於愛情與自然主題。從戀人的描繪中汲取靈感，這往往受到許多日韓歌曲中理想化戀情的影響。對於浪漫意景的熱愛在我的畫作中顯而易見。此外，我也從大自然獲得啟發，尤其是玫瑰與各類花卉，以及寧靜的花園景致。每件作品都反映出我對這些主題的著迷，邀請觀者探索其中共鳴的情感與美感。
